Tax Accountant I

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant I to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in a timely manner
Assist in the preparation of tax provision schedules, returns, payments, and reports
Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
Support senior tax accountants in tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities
Maintain and organize tax records and documentation
Participate in the preparation of tax forecasts and budgets
Assist in the identification and implementation of tax-saving strategies
Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to the team
Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Must be CPA certified.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
5+ years of experience in related field or as tax accountant.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
