Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our team from September 2024. This full-time position is for the entire academic year and involves managing a variety of subject classes, ensuring continuity of education in the absence of regular teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain classroom discipline.
Assist students with their work and answer any questions they may have.
Provide feedback to the regular teachers on student progress and behavior.
Support the school's ethos and values, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant.
Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Adaptability to manage different subjects and year groups.
A genuine interest in working with young people and contributing to their development.
