English Teacher

EARLY BIRD ALERT!

We need a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to support young learners especially those with special educational needs and encourage growth in our partnered school.

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching Scale - determined by experience

This is a wonderful opportunity to create a supportive and powerful learning environment where every student will succeed and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver interactive and effective English lessons that inspire and motivate students, especially those with special educational needs and disabilities.

* Teaching a range of English topics.

* Assess and record student progress, planning future activities to meet their educational needs.

* Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

* Collaborate with staff and parents to enhance the educational experience of the children.

* Participate in and contribute to school events and activities.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching or education qualification.

* An enhanced DBS check to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.

* Previous experience within a school setting, demonstrates your ability to effectively teach and engage students in the study of English.

* Team Teach Qualification or experience with children with social emotional mental health is desirable but not essential.

Our partnered school caters to children from 5 to 16 years with moderate to severe learning difficulties and autism. Ofsted holds this school in excellent standing, especially for its strong leadership that greatly enhances students' behaviour and educational achievement.
