We are recruiting on behalf of our rural client based on the border of North Herefordshire for a Finance Administrator role, offering a great opportunity to join a busy and expanding team on a full time, temp to perm basis.

What you can expect:

Working hours: Monday -Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm

*

Pay rate: £11.44 per hour

*

This is a permanent position, based on the successful completion of a probationary period which will be worked as a temp through Recruitment Direct Leominster

What you will be doing:

*

Process invoices

*

Liaison with customers with invoice queries

*

Dealing with internal queries about payments

*

Ensuring customers pay on time

*

Negotiating repayment plans

*

Allocating payments (bank receipts)

*

Resolving customer queries

*

Issue reminders/chasing letters by email and post

*

Issue statements monthly to larger customers

*

Make telephone calls to customers asking for payment/payment dates

*

Take payments over the phone using PDQ machine

*

Deal with queries relating to outstanding payments

*

Generate invoices and credit notes on Sage

*

Liaise with Accounts Manager on a daily basis

*

Instigate Court Proceedings against Aged Creditors as and when required

*

Provide assistance with Sales calls when needed, incoming and outgoing as necessary

Ability and confidence to work in a busy target driven environment
