Join Howden Joinery as an Assistant Marketing Manager - Publications where you will support the Marketing Manager who specialises in Publications to develop and execute our strategic marketing plans to promote our product range effectively.  This is a permanent role based in Raunds, Northamptonshire, with some home working. 

As an Assistant Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, quality and consistency of our marketing and print collateral across various channels.

What will I be doing as an Assistant Marketing Manager?

- Assisting the in the planning, development, and execution of all printed collateral, including but not limited to our brochures, manuals, flyers, POS, and merchandise.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather product information, specifications, and imagery for print content.
- Working closely with the Category Marketing and the Design Studio to ensure all creative briefs are comprehensive and timely to deliver and deliver on the brief’s objectives.
- Working with the Content and Category teams to conduct thorough proofreading of marketing collateral.
- Supporting market research efforts that identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Supporting the Marketing Manager in creating and managing project plans and schedules, working with cross-functional teams and print suppliers.
- Conducting regular reviews and audits of marketing collateral.
- Assisting in tracking and analysing the performance of publications and merchandise projects.
- Working with finance to monitor and report on stock levels of marketing collateral.
- Managing budgets, processing invoices and POs and setting up new vendors.

What do I need to qualify for this role:

- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in a catalogue marketing or product marketing role.
- Creative flair and attention to detail, with a passion for developing engaging marketing conten
- A great team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with a logical and methodical approach to work.
- Self-motivated with the ability to think on your feet, be flexible and adapt to changes quickly.
- A curious mind with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Driven and resilient with the ability to work autonomously.
