Job Title: Regional Consultant
Reports to: Area Sales Manager
Department: Sales & Technical Service Department

Main Purpose of Job:
The Regional Consultant is responsible to the Area Sales Manager for all sales and service activities. This role involves servicing and supporting the existing client base in line with company policies, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction, and actively seeking and developing opportunities for the sale of additional services within the client base. The role also includes achieving agreed sales targets through prospecting, identifying client needs, preparing written proposals, negotiating, closing, and any necessary follow-up, including all relevant paperwork.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

* Ensure the legal obligations of the company are met on the client’s sites in relation to HSE guidance and legislation (e.g., ACoP L8, HTM04).

* Maintain and develop existing and new customers through strategic account management and development, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

* Ensure all contracted activities are completed within the due month/week and in line with company procedures. Ensure that customer reports are issued in a timely manner.

* Report all identified defects and non-conformances to customers with appropriate guidance and quotations for remedial actions as required.

* Conduct regular (typically monthly or quarterly) formal customer/account review meetings with the customer’s nominated representatives to discuss contract performance, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvements.

* Ensure that contract renewal proposals are written and agreed with line management and issued to customers within the KPI requirements.

* Inform the Area Sales Manager of any problems and competitor activity within the area.

* Manage the territory effectively for both sales and service functions.

* Produce timely and accurate statistics and reports relating to sales and service.

* Maintain the relevant "Customer Relationship Management" systems as required.

* Be involved in the appropriate level of customer training.

* Absorb training as necessary and attend all courses, seminars, and training meetings arranged.

* Attend and contribute to monthly area meetings as required.

* Conduct other reasonable duties as required from time to time to meet business needs and objectives.
