Primary Function
• To lay-out and wire control systems to wiring diagrams.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Review panel wiring diagrams.
• Check ordered parts are correct to the control panel wiring diagrams.
• Layout the control panel to the control panel wiring diagrams.
• Wire the control panel to the control panel wiring diagrams.
• Liaise with design section, for correction, modifications as required.
• Dead test the control panel to the control panel wiring diagrams.
• Function test the control panel to the control panel wiring diagrams and test
documentation.
• Prepare control panels documentation.
• Prepare control panels for delivery.
• Self-driven and willingness to learn, adopting a ‘can do’ mentality and work ethic to strive to
deliver an exemplar standard
• Operate with a ‘one team’ approach demonstrating flexible engagement with internal and external
customers in collaboration with the project team
• Pragmatic/common sense approach always demonstrating a sense of ownership
• Operates with consistent effort, overcoming obstacles in order to achieve a goal
• Conveys accurate information through effective communication using the most appropriate

• Deliver the project in accordance with business forecast and budget
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical integrated systems.
• General understanding of British Standards, Building Regulations, HSE requirements, CIBSE
statutory bodies and any other relevant documentations/regulations related to the design,
procurement & the construction of developments
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process
