Finance Manager

The Role: As the Finance Manager of Toro, you will play a critical role within the business with heightened exposure, covering all aspects of financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks whilst providing real time insights to the Managing Director. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a rapidly expanding company and to grow professionally within the recruitment industry.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:

* Manage daily accounting tasks, including invoicing, payroll processing, VAT returns, financial reporting, and overseeing contractor payments and timesheet management.

* Handle all aspects of the purchase ledger and sales ledger, inclusive of treasury, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.

* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

* Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.

* Work closely with the management team to implement and improve financial strategies.

* Provide insights and recommendations to optimise financial performance and operational efficiency.

* Create and maintain profit forecasts, cash flow forecasts and operational finance reports as part of a Board Pack to support the running of the business.

About You:

* Proven experience in accounting.

* The ideal candidate will be part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent), AAT qualified or QBE (qualified by experience).

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent organisational abilities, with a capacity to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

* A team player with strong communication skills, capable of working collaboratively within a small, dynamic team.
