RGN, RMN or RN will be considered for this role.

Hourly rate - £23.00 per hour dependant on skills and experience

Working Hours: Full time with supernumerary time.

About us Cedar Court Nursing and Dementia Care Home (Dementia Care), is a privately-owned nursing home registered for a maximum of 43 service users and is based in a convenient location just off the A511 in South Derbyshire and just 5 miles from Burton on Trent.

We are currently looking for Clinical Lead with a natural caring nature to join our team.

Our aim at Cedar Court is to provide the highest standard of care in a relaxed, friendly environment. We specialise in caring for people with dementia with a friendly and empathetic approach. We ensure that residents are able to still enjoy the freedom and lifestyle of their choice, whilst receiving care that is appropriate to their needs built on dignity and respect and you will play a key part in this:

Clinical Lead (Band 6) - What you will be doing:

* Ensuring the well-being of our residents, making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met.

* Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individual care plans.

* Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation

* Overseeing nurses and the care team and ensure their duties have been fulfilled throughout the shift.

* Developing, reviewing and updating care plans

* Ensuring medicines are administered, stored and received appropriately.

* Ensuring the well-being of our residents, making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met.

* Being pro-active in monitoring the behaviour and well-being of residents and making appropriate referrals to external sources of support or care, as necessary.

* Working a mixture of nursing shifts and office based.

Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check.
