Science Solutions are looking to recruit an R&D Engineer for one of our clients based in the Cambridgeshire area.
In order to be considered for the role as an R&D Engineer you must have previous experience working in an R&D environment, specifically a chemical or materials laboratory in addition to being degree educated in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
As an R&D Engineer you will be responsible for day to day running of experiments within the lab.
Role requirements:
Degree educated as a minimum in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or a similar subject.
Previous industrial experience in an R&D environment.
Strong analytical skills to assist with problem solving.
Proven experience in identifying and assessing problems and overcoming them.
Any previous experience in using process engineering software systems is highly advantageous.
Any previous experience in working with and handling Graphene is highly advantageous.
Role responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising and upscaling the current system that uses niche technology.
Daily running of experiments in the R&D lab.
Actively collect data and write reports on your findings to present to the R&D Manager
