About the Role
The Manager Restaurants is responsible for directly overseeing the outlet and meeting profit goals while staying in compliance with all regulations and standards.
Position Responsibilities
Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring service commitments, standards/expectations, financial goals, and policies/procedures are consistently upheld
Builds rapport, commitment, and loyalty with team members and guests
Update, develop & implement SOP’s, Training Manuals & Policies & Procedures to support operational and business objectives
Ensures that service is carried out in accordance with established policy
Hires, trains and evaluates all restaurant personnel and enforces food and beverage policies and procedures
Ensures sanitation compliance throughout restaurants
Handles customer complaints
Oversee profit and loss by following cash control, maintaining inventory, reviewing financial reports, and recommending action when needed.
Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
Essential Functions
Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field.
Three to five years’ experience in full-service restaurant management.
Proven leadership skills
Must be passionate about customer service and restaurant operations
