Our client is looking for an Experinced Quality Control Manager, this role is to is to ensure that all of a company’s services and activities meet and maintain set standards. As a quality manager, you’ll carry out inspections and keep detailed records as evidence that work is of the highest possible quality. 5-10 years experience required and construction or Civil engineering experience would be proffered. Job location is in Norway.
Key Roles & Responsibility
* Using quality assurance software to analyse and improve standards
* Reviewing policies and planning how to improve quality management systems
* Inspecting and testing products and production processes
* Measuring performance and recommending improvements
* Making sure policies and procedures meet national and international quality standards
* Assessing the effectiveness of changes to processes or production
* Managing a team of quality control technicians
* Training staff and Meeting with clients to understand their business needs
* Developing company quality procedures, standards, and specifications
* Matching processes with standards and Coordinating activity required to meet quality standards
* Conducting internal audits and inspection and Presenting project proposals to clients and Discussing materials with suppliers
* Writing management and technical reports
* Overseeing budgets
* Collecting and sharing statistics
* Dealing with any issues that arise with customers or projects
* Following legal regulations
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company and Joint Venture policies and processes.
* Demonstrate a personal commitment to the safety and health framework, policies and management system requirements and expectations;
* Develop and maintain an awareness of SHE hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimise those risks;
* Understand and effectively undertake SHE accountabilities.

The successful candidate will be based to Sotra Link project (in Norway) A 9.4 km long four-lane road to be built in Vestland county. The Sotrasambandet bridge and tunnel system comprises 19 car and pedestrian underpasses, 23 tunnel portals, 22 bridges and viaducts, new four-lane motorways and 14 km of pavements and cycle paths. About 24 km of two-lane access roads will also be built. It is expected to open on June 1, 2027
