Are you an accomplished Enterprise Architect looking for the next move in your career? InX are working on a retained Search basis with a Financial Services organisation who are seeking to appoint a Group Enterprise Architect to join the CIO's SMT.

The Role

As an Enterprise Architect reporting directly into the CIO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the technology strategy to drive new business objectives. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex systems and infrastructure that support our enterprise-wide needs and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our IT solutions are aligned with our long-term business goals and industry best practices. This role will require a very strong leadership skillset as well as strong technical knowledge; someone who can inspire others and promote vision. Candidates well suited will be business aligned and customer focused and / or from a customer centric background.

Key Responsibilities

Create, develop and drive the Enterprise Architecture strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise systems and infrastructure.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams, promoting best practices and architectural standards.
Identify areas of existing systems that require optimisation and improvement.
Define architectural principles, standards and governance processes at group level.Skills and Experience

Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, with a track record of designing and implementing enterprise scale solutions within a highly regulated industry such as Financial Services as well as Consumer facing industries.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies.
Significant leadership experience and examples of building Architecture capability.
Strong understanding of data mesh frameworks and data mesh architecture as well as a good understanding of cloud computing technologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.With this search InX are looking for highly established individuals who wish to progress into a group level position, working across the technology estate and multiple geographies.
