Service Charge Analyst

Goodman Masson are excited to be partnered with a large sized housing association on their search for a Service Charge Analyst!

What is the role?

Main responsibilities:

Analysing and reconciling service charge income and expenses
Maintaining accurate records of service charge transactions
Collaborating with property managers to ensure timely and accurate billing of service charges
Reviewing lease agreements to determine applicable service charge allocations
Calculating service charge budgets based on property expenses and projected costs
Conducting regular audits of service charge accounts to identify discrepancies or errors
Providing financial reports and analysis related to service charge income and expenses
Communicating with tenants regarding service charge inquiries and disputes
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Assisting in the preparation of annual service charge budgets and forecasts
Participating in meetings with property management teams to discuss service charge issues and strategies for improvement

This role is offering a salary of circa £44,000 per annum, with heavily remote working in the Sittingbourne office.

What do you need to succeed?

AAT qual/ AAT finalist
Experience in service charge
People management skills
