Your new companyA highly regarded and established M&E Contractor is seeking to appoint a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their team.Based in Belfast, this contractor blends traditional values and extensive experience with cutting-edge innovation to provide top-tier service. Their unwavering commitment is to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions while maintaining a safe and considerate work environment.Your new roleYour role will include preparation and implementation of mechanical contracts, as well as managing and coordinating tight deadlines. You will be responsible for planning and programming labour and projects effectively, leading the site team and direct labour, and communicating with client and design teams. A maximum of one overnight stay per week in London will be required.What you'll need to succeedFrom a Mechanical background, either time served Plumber/Pipefitter or with an HNC+ qualification in a Building Services discipline, you will have a minimum of 1 year's experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager with extensive knowledge of HVAC installation working on high value projects. You will be able to demonstrate clear and visible leadership, strong commercial awareness with capacity to absorb responsibility and accountability whilst providing direction, motivation and coaching to others.
