GSL Education are looking for Cover Supervisors available for immediate start in Rotherham to manage classroom activities and ensure student engagement in the absence of the regular teacher.
Job Summary:
Oversee student work and facilitate classroom activities.
Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
Maintain discipline and a constructive educational environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide appropriate feedback to students and teachers about the day’s activities.
Ensure all students are safe and accounted for during class times.
Assist with the preparation of resources and classroom set-up as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in education or childcare is beneficial.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
