Our client in North London is offering an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Working closely with company directors and a supportive commercial team, candidates should possess strong communication skills. While experience in the brick and blockwork sector is beneficial, it's not mandatory. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with interim valuations and final accounts.
- Supporting project cost reconciliations.
- Assisting in take-offs and compiling Bills of Quantities (BoQ’s).
- Supporting in pricing BoQ’s according to contract requirements and market conditions.
- Participating in site visits before tender submissions.
- Supporting tender pursuits and attending relevant meetings.
- Assisting in creating material procurement schedules.
- Reviewing subcontract orders for approval.
- Ensuring contractual compliance to protect company interests.
