Job Description
As a GRP Laminator you will be involved in the production process of our hulls, decks, cabins and small mouldings. You will use your experience of GRP processes such as wet-lay, resin infusion and vac-bagging core materials. You will use your skills of laminating through application of gel, resins, catalyst and mat materials to form the product. You will be able to handle and mix the relevant materials to complete high quality gel repairs efficiently and identify any fibreglass imperfections.
Candidates should possess a fine eye for detail and be able to work under tight timescales. You will have the ability to read and understand lay-up drawings and carry out the required workload to the lay up specification.
Skills needed to succeed:
* Experience in fibreglass GRP/FRP laminating processes.
* Previous experience of using hand tools.
* Ability to work alone as well as part of a team, with the flexibility to meet deadlines.
* Show good work ethic by taking pride and being punctual.
