As a Staff Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Providing leadership and support for care staff, championing residents' safety and dignity.
Liaising with GPs and other health professionals to ensure residents receive the necessary medical and clinical support.
Supporting all care staff in completing induction programs, training and competency assessments.
Ensuring the safe and proper management of medications, adhering to NMC requirements and company policies.
Maintaining standards of infection control within the home and assisting residents with their own infection control needs.
Intervening immediately in situations where there is significant risk to residents.The ideal Staff Nurse will:
Be an RN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.
Have a kind and caring approach, with a passion for delivering the highest standard of care.
Have excellent communication skills and a desire to work collaboratively with residents and relatives.
Have experience and passion in supporting and developing less experienced staff members.
Have the right to work within the UK.LICLM
