Senior Storage Systems Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and be at the ForeFront of innovation in Storage deployment and migration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and migration of SAN switches, with a focus on Brocade DCX. Expertise in Bna/Maps/Fos is crucial for ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization.
• Manage and maintain various Storage platforms including Dell EMC Unity, Dell EMC VPLEX, Dell EMC Elastic Cloud Storage, and Dell EMC Isilon. Proficiency in these platforms is essential for effective Storage resource allocation and data management.
• Utilize deep knowledge of Hitachi VSP Platform, encompassing Svos, Sam4h, and Vsm, to oversee Storage operations and ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Mandatory expertise in scripting languages such as Bash, KSH, and Perl to automate routine tasks and streamline Storage management processes. Familiarity with Ansible is an added advantage for orchestrating complex Storage environments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Unix volume management systems including ZFS, AIX Mpio, and Linux Device Mapper for efficient Storage provisioning and performance optimization.
• Possess a strong understanding of ESX vCenter for managing virtualized Storage environments and ensuring seamless integration with virtual infrastructure.
• Apply ITIL principles and best practices to Storage operations, ensuring adherence to standardized processes and continuous improvement in service delivery.

Requirements

• Good experience working on SAN switches deployment & migration, specifically with Brocade DCX.
• Proficiency in managing Dell EMC Unity, Dell EMC VPLEX, Dell EMC Elastic Cloud Storage, and Dell EMC Isilon.
• Deep understanding of Hitachi Vsp Platform, including Svos, Sam4h, and Vsm.
• Mandatory expertise in scripting languages such as Bash, KSH, and Perl.

• Fluency in English and French; Spanish proficiency is an asset.
