Our client is expanding and is on the lookout for a talented Air Source Heat Pump Design Engineer to join their team.
As a key member of the company as an ASHP Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing cutting-edge Air Source Heat Pump systems for residential and commercial properties. Your role will involve meticulously assessing technical surveys, conducting heat loss calculations, checking insulation, and surveying properties to ensure optimal performance. You will utilise your expertise in plumbing and heating to design bespoke ASHP systems tailored to our customer's needs and requirements.
Requirements:
Background in Heating and Engineering, with proven experience in plumbing and heating.
Proficiency in heating system design principles.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues.
Familiarity with domestic hot and cold water systems, including hybrid boilers.
Prior experience with ASHP systems.
BPEC L3 or equivalent certification in heat pump design or Heat Geek qualified.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Passion for sustainable energy solutions.
