Part time Credit Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our construction services client as a Credit Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing market- leading organisation.

This is a part time role working a minimum of 24 hours per week. Hours and days are negotiable.

Life AssuranceThe Job:

Chasing outstanding invoices through a mixture of phone calls, and emails
Confident in communicating with key project contacts. E.g. Quantity surveyors, Project Managers
Hitting individual, and departmental KPI's
Dealing with incoming customer queries
Working the shared accounts mailboxes
Chasing invoices in line with the relevant timeline
Escalating bad debts to management once all avenues have been exhausted
Issuing legal notices where appropriate
Daily bank reconciliations, and cash allocations
Carrying out credit checks when required
Liaising with internal departments to resolve invoice queries
Helping the rest of the team as requiredWhat You'll Need:

Proven credit control experience
Confident, and professional manner on the telephone.
Diligent with good attention to detail.
Able to deal with strong / difficult clients.
Good team player, offering help to colleagues in other areas of the business when workload dictates.
Capable of working independently, and proactively.
Excellent IT skills, good knowledge of Excel.
Sage 200 experience (desirable).
Good problem-solving skills/using own initiative.
