Quality Inspector (CMM)

CMM Inspector
Location: Ansty, Coventry

Pay Rate:
Morning Shift (6am to 2pm) is £18.41 per hour PAYE (or £24/hr Umbrella)
Afternoon Shift (2pm to 10pm) is £20.99 per hour PAYE (or £27.35/hr Umbrella)
Alternating weekly shift pattern

Duration: 12 months contract
(first 2 months will be on morning shift whilst training is given)
Duties
• Measure various components on CMM machines, and to produce inspection reports.
• Operate CMM equipment and generate reports to ensure the conformance of product in line with drawing requirements.
• Ensure programs and procedures used are the current version/level.
• Undertake First Article Inspection in accordance with Quality Procedure requirements.
• Record and process non-conformances using the appropriate databases.
• Use of the business system to record entry into stock and able to make stock adjustments.
• Generate CMM inspection reports.

Requirements
• CMM Inspection / CMM operator experience
• Manual Mechanical Inspection experience
• Experience of using measuring equipment such as Vernier, Micrometer, Shadowgraph, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.
• Experience of completing inspection reports and other standard quality documentation
• Following standard inspection procedures
• Must be computer literate and able to use Word and Excel, and manufacturing computer systems such as SAP or similar
• Experience of SPC
• Understanding of GD&T
