Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Omega Resource are supporting this leading distribution business, in their search for a Warehouse Manager.
Our client are a leading and well respected distributor of electromechanical and harnessing products, with a long list of exciting & cutting-edge clients across the Aerospace, Defence, Energy, Medical, and Motorsport industries.
The Warehouse Manager will be a key hire to support the Operations Director on the day-to-day operational and management of a team of up to 25 staff, with a focus on Health, Safety, and Security of employees, visitors, customers, and suppliers, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities – Warehouse Manager
Ensure compliance across statutory and company regulations for Health & safety, Environment, Employment, and Export
Leading and developing the Warehouse team
Ensure processes and people are planned to support SLAs and Warehouse Metrics
Oversee goods in/out, and storage of goods
Identifying new ways of working, enabling a robust and scalable process
Point of contact for outbound logistics partners, and finding cost saving initiatives
Project Management of Warehouse & Logistics
Daily KPI production and monitoring of the team
Conducting appraisals, training, and improvement tasks
Overseeing planning maintenance of equipment and machinery
Managing transport companies where applicable
Qualifications & Requirements – Warehouse Manager
Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, and leading teams in logistics environments
Ability to work flexibly, and be well organised in high pressure environments
Ability to identify and implement improvement initiatives
Excellent communication skills
Confident with data and numbers, and data driven decision making
Competent with IT systems inc Microsoft
