Exciting Opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Torquay!

* Patient list of approx. 8,000.
* Great support from a full range of medical and clerical staff to provide the best possible care to a varied patient group.
* Full or Part-Time employment (full time equivalent = 37.5 hrs p/week; Mon- Fri.
* High-performing practice with excellent QOF and CQC ratings with low staff turnover.
About the Practice:
* Strong multi-disciplinary team, including GPs, Nursing Staff, Pharmacists, and Paramedics.
* Beautiful building with plenty of space to support the developing local community network.
* Pharmacy on site and host Mental Health Matters in the evenings.
* Strong emphasis on education, training and support.
* Quality of life is important – Structured workload and finishing by 6pm is the norm, without the need to come in on days off, or log in from home.
* Consultation slots are 15 minutes and clinical system is Emis Web.
Package and Benefits:
* Competitive salary of £50,000 - £58,000 per annum dependent on experience.

* 6 weeks holiday and 1 week study leave.

Key Duties:
* Assess, diagnose, and plan treatment for patients with undifferentiated diagnoses both in clinics and home visits.
* Clinically examine and assess patients both physiologically and psychologically.
* Address complex needs with comprehensive interventions and treatments.
* Effectively communicate with patients and carers, adapting to diverse backgrounds.
* Adhere to professional codes and regulations set by the NMC and deliver care in alignment with NSF, NICE guidelines, and evidence-based practices.
Key Requirements:
* Relevant nursing/health degree and independent prescribing qualification.
* Experience in both Primary Care and/or a GP Practice.
* Familiarity with EMIS Web clinical record system is advantageous.
