We are working with a hugely respected M&E subcontractor operating across London and the UK. They are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team in London.
THE COMPANY
* A widely recognised contractor with over 130 years of experience in the construction industry and a strong reputation for excellence.
* They provide mechanical and electrical engineering contracting services across a range of sectors including residential and commercial.
* They are a people and client focussed business. They have grown through staff retention and through repeat clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* The Contracts Manager will be in charge of contract administration and management, including contract review and negotiation, compliance and risk management, and documentation.
* The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the coordination and communication between clients, build teams, subcontractors, and any other key stakeholders.
* The Contracts Manager will be responsible for budget control and cost management, managing variations as needed.
* The Contracts Manager will be involved in strategic planning related to contract acquisition and management, and will provide insights and recommendations to enhance contract profitability and client satisfaction.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
* Previous experience leading the whole lifecycle of several projects concurrently.
* Experience managing commercial aspect of projects including tendering, procurement, client negotiations, etc.
* Have a mechanical qualification or relevant work experience.
* Good knowledge of electrical systems and installations.
* Experience of working for an M&E subcontractor.
* Have UK right to work.
