SHEQ Manager

Principal People are excited to be recruiting for a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager to join a highly established utilities organisation who are seeking a passionate and innovative leader to join the safety team. This role will offer you the opportunity to work within a leadership position working in both a strategic and operational capacity. This role is to pay £55-62k + Package.
The successful SHEQ Manager will be required to utilise a people focused approach to health and safety whilst demonstrating their leadership capabilities for this progressive organisation.
The successful SHEQ Manager will be responsible for:
Supporting the Senior SHEQ Manager in ensuring overall SHEQ compliance across the business and contract.
Rolling out SHEQ Behavioural & Cultural initiatives and training
Ensuring Capital Teams comply with their legal duties and responsibilities
Carrying out audits and inspections
Compliance to CDM regulations
Supporting the development and implementation of the Health and Safety Environmental strategy and plan
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety management systems The minimum requirements for this role are:
NEBOSH General Certificate minimum
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (Desirable)
Experience within Utilities, Water, Construction, Civil Engineering
Experience / Understanding of CDM responsibilities.
Strong communication abilities, able to liaise at all levels
Strong leadership qualities and ability to drive change.
