Who are we looking for?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduling Manager to join our friendly team based at our Head Office in Tytherington, Macclesfield.  The role is suitable for office or ‘hybrid working’ with time spent working from home in addition to attending the office. 

In order to succeed in the role, you must be able to demonstrate high attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Experience using Excel is also preferred. Strong Geographical Knowledge including UK postcodes, Experience of journey planning for field service teams, Confident in working with 3rd Party Partners and sub contractors.

What does my new role look like?

As a Scheduling Manager you will be responsible for the following:

Ensuring all projects are effectively scheduled with appropriately skilled people to meet/exceed the Clients requirements
Ensuring all people deployed to projects are done so in the most cost-effective way to retain profit and achieve target margins, as set by the business
Creating logical and cost effect journey plans
Acting as the main day to day contact for the resourcing of all projects that are assigned to you, working with the Project & Field Management Teams to deliver on time, every time, for the client.
Ensuring our systems and all related project information are maintained with accurate data
Effectively communicating with colleagues in the Retail Operations team to keep projects on track from a delivery and cost perspective.
Negotiating and agreement of project purchase rates with 3rd Party Contractors
