A refurbishment and fit out company who design and create extraordinary spaces are looking for a Mechanical Site Manager for their M&E Division. They are looking for someone who focus’ on quality and detail and is a confident communicator to join their growing Mechanical Projects team.
Role: Mechanical Site Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £35,000 + car allowance
Role and Responsibilities
* Manage projects on site varying from £1K - £2M
* Co-ordinate the delivery of all project activities on site between different subcontractors and internal teams
* Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure successfully turning the project plan and quote, into a reality
* Coordination of Mechanical services with other building elements and create solutions to Services clashes, etc on site
* Produce valuations of works completed and Final accounts
* Manage variations with onsite stakeholders and communicate them back to the CM’s
* Contribute to the project programme
* Work closely with the design and construction teams to co-ordinate all activities on site
Qualifications and Experience
* At least 5 years’ experience of working in a trade background looking to take the next step in their career
* A desire to work toward or hold a Further Education qualification (In a Building Services field is preferable)
* Highly organised, meticulous attention to detail and is passionate about getting things done on time
* Great communication skills and ability to adapt their style with different stakeholders
* Self-starter and can work in dynamic environments
* Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence
