Arborist

Position: Arboriculturist – must hold at least a Level 3 in Arboriculture and your LANTRA

Location: Essex

Salary: £26k-£36k

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Arboriculturist to join a main contractor to join their Environmental and Sustainability Division.

The company are market leaders in the utilities and rail sector and your role as an Arboriculturist you will be responsible for a varied range of arboricultural reports, surveys and inspections.

The Arboriculturist will be responsible for:

* Tree identification and drone footage analysis for our specialised team.

* Arboricultural inspections to report back to the Head of Environmental & Sustainability Division.

* A varied range of arboricultural reports, surveys and inspections.

* Liaising and consultation with clients, client project managers and stakeholders.

* Liaising and consultation with the companies contract and project managers.

Qualifications / requirements:

* Hold a Level 4 Arboricultural Qualification (ideally)

* Level 3 Arboricultural Qualification plus the LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector certificate.

Have excellent tree identification skills:

* Be proficient in identification of a range of pests and diseases and their significance.

* Be proficient in identifying arboricultural hazards, their significance, and prescribing remedial alleviations.

* Hold a Full UK driving licence.

* Have excellent reporting capabilities, with the ability to work to a set deadline
