Facility Coordinator - EPURE

AWE is currently recruiting for a Facility Coordinator to provide practical support within a joint French/UK team in Valduc to carry out agreed facility tasks as part of the UK/France EPURE facility team and to manage facility access.

Location - Valduc - France

Package - Up to £42,000 (dependant on skills and experience plus allowances, and relocation package to France. Please note the role will initially be based in Aldermaston prior to deployment to France)

As Facility Coordinator, you will:

Be accountable for providing support on behalf of the Senior Asset Operations Manager (and designates), in delivering against the responsibilities aligned to the role, allocated area, or facilities, whilst enabling work to maximise availability of assets to programme demanders.

Be responsible for escalation of significant issues to the Senior Asset Operations Manager (SAOM).

Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and be a great collaborator.

Be the non-technical focal point for all UK and joint French work activities and to manage access control to facilities.

Ensure authorised isolations of alarms, sensors or systems (required to allow safe and approved operations) and that this information is recorded correctly and all necessary parties informed.

Monitor all control panels, respond correctly to indications and alarms and disseminate and liaise with the relevant subject matter experts (SME's) to ensure the correct response is achieved to maintain safety of personnel and facilities, at all times.

Manage the Plan of the Week (PLOW) and the Plan of the Day (PLOD) boards and ensure they are relevant and up to date.

To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate some of the following:

Candidates must be able to communicate in French (written and orally) at A2 level as a minimum, however, training will be provided.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams).

Good attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

High level of personal integrity, with the ability to handle confidential and otherwise sensitive matters professionally.

Prior experience within customer service and administration.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for this role.
