LaBella Associates is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires in your designated divisions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the success of our company.
This position is hybrid and is based out of our Rochester, Buffalo or Albany, NY offices.
As the Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist, you will play a vital role in finding the perfect candidates for technical positions in designated divisions. You will have a deep understanding of the requirements for these roles and will be responsible for creating job advertisements, reviewing resumes, and contacting potential candidates to determine their fit. Additionally, you will work closely with regional HRBPs to support regional recruiting efforts and collaborate with Division Directors to identify and prioritize recruitment needs.
You will also be the main point of contact for onboarding new hires in the designated divisions. Working alongside HRBPs, you will ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, starting from the moment they accept the offer until their first day on the job.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruiting:
Write and post job vacancies
Source candidates
Review applications
Schedule Interviews
Attend recruiting meetings
Career Fair coordination with regional HRBPs
Onboarding:
Send new hire paperwork
process new hire background checks
Review onboarding paperwork and verify I-9 identification
Enter new hires into ADP Workforce Now
Assist with new hire immigration matters
Miscellaneous:
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Management, or other relevant degree
Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
2 - 5 years of experience involving recruiting and onboarding
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems
Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
