Top required Skills
1) Understanding of Document Management, transmitting official documents/records between client (owner) and external vendors, includes tracking workflows, due dates, and versioning; Knowledge of computer-assisted retrieval systems, filing systems, and records management operations.
2) Strong organizational skills, and able to document work processes. Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
3) Good verbal and written communication skills; Team player with strong customer focus skills, must be able to effectively interface with technical experts on project teams
Knowledge of Oracle Aconex extremely helpful, but not required
Here is the basic criteria I am looking for:
Knowledge of business, legal and regulatory requirements for records retention. Knowledge of computer-assisted retrieval systems, filing systems, and records management operations. Knowledge of micrographics and reprographics equipment and processes. Basic knowledge of procedures analysis. Skills: oral and written communication; work flow analysis; document/data research; computer applications. Abilities: analytical and abstract thinking; gather, analyze, and make recommendations for decision making.
The basic position is for a Document Records Controller. If the person has Aconex experience, that would be a gold medal, but not a requirement.
Job Summary
Primary functions of the Document Records Controller include:
Responsible for transmitting official documents/records between client (owner) and external vendors in support of major projects. This includes tracking workflows, due dates, and versioning.
Provides quality checks on document metadata to confirm files are loaded correctly.
Grants external and internal user access for central document management software platform.
Coordinates with project team on document comments and distributing to vendors.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Ability to use Microsoft Office tools efficiently.
Oracle Aconex experience helpful.
Education (Minimum Requirements)
Education Level:
High School Diploma (or GED) required.
Associates Degree in Business related field preferred.
