Hours: Monday - Thursday 7pm - 7am (48 hour week)
Salary: Up to £45,000

I am currently working with a well known organization based within the West Midlands who are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer with experience of both Creating programmes and setting up CNC Turning Centre's
Role Description
Working for a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions. With approximately 3,900 employees and 65 manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide, we manufacture electrical conduit, cable management systems, armored cable, metal framing, and security products and solutions
As the CNC Programmer you will be responsible to safely set/operate machinery used in the production of coated steel and plastic corrugated conduit and a wide range of turned metallic fittings
General Scope of work
* Set up, program, and operate twin spindle, multi-axis CNC turning centre's
* Set up and operate CNC machines to Manufacture parts according to specifications
* Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
* Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
* Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
* Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
* Undertake any other duties of a similar level or nature as requested.
Qualifications/Experience/Interests:
* Previous experience of programming, setting, and running CNC Turning Centre's, lathes with multi spindle and multi turret simultaneous machining.
* Previous experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment
* Essential in Mazak or Citizen Miyano machining knowledge
* Knowledge of SolidWorks, CAD, or other software used in CNC programming.
* Welding experience is an advantage.
* Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools for assembly and adjustments
* Essential that you have a strong knowledge of multi-axis turning and that you are used to working from bar and can design programs
