We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated ICT/Business Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds starting September 2024.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking school with a commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons that captivate students and foster a love for ICT and Business studies. The role is full-time, initially for one term, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in ICT and Business studies to secondary school students.

- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.

- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in ICT, Business, or a related field.

- Proven experience teaching ICT and/or Business studies at the secondary level.

- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A passion for education and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable:

- Experience with integrating technology into the classroom.

- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in ICT and Business education.

- A creative and innovative approach to teaching.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
