Located in Milton Keynes, our partner school is committed to providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment where every child can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher who is passionate about early years education and dedicated to nurturing the development of young learners. As a key member of the teaching team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons that ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and build essential skills for lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver inspiring and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students, ensuring progression and attainment in line with the national curriculum.
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to take risks in their learning.
Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and actively seeking to involve parents in their child's education.
Implement effective assessment strategies to track student progress and inform future planning, providing timely feedback to support each child's individual learning journey.
Collaborate with the wider school community to organise and participate in enrichment activities, trips, and events that enhance the curriculum and promote a love of learning.
Support the transition of Year 2 students to Key Stage 2 by equipping them with the necessary skills and confidence for their next stage of education.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2.
A sound understanding of the early years curriculum, phonics teaching, and the developmental needs of young children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach to creating a positive learning environment that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
