Multi Utilities Designer

Your new company
You will be joining an established ICP who operate nationally, due to expansion, looking for a Multi Utilities Designer to join the team working hybrid. They are one of the only ICPs capable of working with voltages up to 132kV, installing electricity, gas and water networks. They are supported and backed by one of the worlds largest infrastructure investors.
Your new role
Our client is open to speak to more junior or trainee MU designers or electrical design engineers as well, but ideally looking for the below:

Minimum of 2-3 Years experience at a DNO or ICP
Effectively manage a portfolio of MU projects, each at various stages of the post-tender lifecycle.
Ownership of assigned projects throughout the design phase of works.
Ongoing support to tendering and operations teams to ensure projects are estimated and delivered correctly.
Maintaining own competence in accordance with statutory authority policies and updates, legislative changes and customer requirements.
Experience of working on a portfolio of projects in the construction or utility industries.
Experienced in design work on all electrical voltages from 400V up to 11kV.
Detailed knowledge of industry network design standards (e.g. G81 appendices).
