The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global Group working in a fast-paced warehouse environment as a full bag warehouse shift operator.

The role
As a Full Bag Warehouse Shift Operator, you will be responsible for operating the Warehouse packaging plant ensuring the product is packaged correctly to meet the packing schedule.
Salary- £14.62 plus OT on days and possibility of shift work if desired in the future.

Your duties and responsibilities 
As a Full Bag Warehouse Shift Operator, you will be responsible for operating the Warehouse packaging plant ensuring the product is packaged correctly to meet the packing schedule.
Organise the packaging materials to ensure changes to schedule are adhered to.
Ensure that all packed product is stored in the warehouse in a safe manner and that stock rotation is achieved within guidelines.
Preparation of permits to work ensuring risk assessment and method statements are adequate to control risk, in-line with requirements.
Ensure procedures are carried out when interaction with packaging machinery is required.
Follow quality procedures for all packed product and non-conformed product.
Adherence to warehouse standard operating instructions.
Carry out duties in a safe manner at all times and ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained and improved.
Reporting of all accidents/incidents/near miss using the company reporting systems.
Complete effective shift handovers in order that accurate information is recorded and communicated.
Maintain packaging machines to ensure maximum utilisation.
This role is concerned with the operation of the automated packing lines in the warehouse on a shift by shift basis.  The role includes basic maintenance and fault finding on the packing lines including other site related activities.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Counterbalance forklift truck in date and previous process industry experience.
Ideally 3 years driving counterbalance FLT. 
Ideally 2 years operating Packing machinery.Get in touch today
