An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a vibrant business in the Lancaster area on a perm basis.
As Accounts Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Financial Controller, Operations and Sales Teams on a day to day basis.
If you have experience working within Local Government/Councils within a Finance role which we're looking for, this exciting role could be the next step in your career and we'd love to hear from you!
About the role
Based in Lancaster, you will be responsible for:
Bank Reconciliation
Purchase & sales ledger.
Credit Control
Allocation of payments
Support with month end
About you
The ideal candidate for this position must have:
Experience within a similar accounts/finance role
Excellent communication skills
AAT qualification is desirable but not essential
Experience using Sage
