Location: Belfast - Northern Ireland

Salary: £35,000 + van and fuel card

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to work across our Heating Servicing contractor a large social housing contractor. As a Social Housing Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems in social housing properties. You will work closely with our maintenance team to provide efficient and effective electrical services to our residents.

The successful candidate will have specific responsibility for the safety, technical and electrical installation works completed under their remit.

The Candidate must be willing to participate in an OOH Rota.

Responsibilities:

Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in social housing properties.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely manner.
Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders.
Inspect and test electrical systems to identify and address potential hazards.
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Social Housing Electrician or a similar role.
Valid electrician license/certification. Must have 18th edition , 2391 , AM2 , City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent
Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and maintenance techniques.
Familiarity with relevant safety codes and regulations.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
