RN Director of Quality

Looking for a RN Director of Quality for a progressive Hospital in Las Cruces that values a positive and supportive work environment for employees and compassionate, thorough and safe care for patients. This role will be responsible for directing organizational quality in the facility, which is a crucial initiative. This includes working with Regulatory Agencies, such as Joint Commission, CMS, the state, etc. Other areas of responsibility include Disease Specific Certification, Leap Frog, Patient Satisfaction, public reporting and National Quality Designation. This individual will also manage and develop staff. In addition, they will create and enforce policies and procedures, maintain accreditation and be accountable for the budget.
 
Requirements
·         Current (or eligible for) NM RN license or compact licensure and prior clinical experience
·         7+ years of healthcare experience and 3+ years in a leadership role
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Master’s Degree preferred 
·         Experience coordinating quality initiatives with proven outcomes, developing programs and prior budget responsibility
·         Experience working in a for-profit Hospital strongly preferred 
 
Nice to have:
·         Prior experience working with regulatory agencies in an acute care environment
