Lab Technician (Sample Testing)

CY Partners have a new role at a leading pharmaceutical company committed to providing high-quality medications to improve patients' lives. The role is an initial 12 month contract based in West Sussex, where you will perform routine testing, working in the analytical lab Monday - Friday.

Role Responsibilities

Perform Sampling of Raw materials and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in accordance with defined procedures and plans.
Ensure that the sampling area is fit for use prior to commencement of sampling operations.
Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is used during sampling operations.
Ensure all clean of the sampling area is performed and documented
Labelling and collation of sampled material for distribution to internal and external laboratories.
Perform ID testing of Raw materials and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) by FTIR in accordance with defined procedures.
Ensure that the testing equipment is fit for use prior to commencement of testing operations.
Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is used during testing operations.
Receive batches, remove sampled quantities and enter test results.
Perform all activities in accordance with GMP rules (eg ALCOA)

For this role you do not require a degree, but experience in a lab would be beneficial (Lab Technician or similar roles). You will receive training upon entry into the role, any queries reach out to Joe at CY Partners
