Join our dynamic maintenance team with this exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Multi Trader.
Become a crucial part of our dedicated team, ensuring top-notch maintenance services across Bedford in a role that affects the well-being of approximately 200 homes, all conveniently situated within a 5-mile radius. Be part of our on-call rotation team, providing essential support when it matters most. You will be provided with a company van and a fuel card which you can take home.
Your New Role:
Execute diverse Multi Trade maintenance tasks with expertise in the following. Basic Plumbing: fixing drainage issues, blockages, taps, washers etc. Carpentry: Installing skirting, architraves, and changing locks. Painting & Decorating. Patch Plastering.
Collaborate seamlessly with fellow tradespeople, including electricians and plumbers, to deliver comprehensive repair solutions.
Participate in an on-call rota.
Uphold the highest standards of quality construction, ensuring all tasks meet health and safety requirements.
What You Need to Succeed:
A track record of success in multi-trade repairs.
Qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in a relevant trade.
Experience of maintaining housing environments, both occupied and vacant.
A thorough understanding of health and safety protocols.
An eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Teamwork skills that contribute to our collective success.
A full UK driving licence.
