Role: HR Advisor

Location: Battersea, Greater London (plus multi-site cover)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS

✔ Full UK Driving Licence and Own Vehicle - Essential

For insurance purposes;

✔ Must be at least 18 years old

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

✔ Requires a minimum of 2 years experience in a generalist HR role

✔ Should be at least CIPD Level 3 qualified (or equivalent), but Level 5 preferred

✔ Must have experience in the hospitality, foodservice, or related industries

✔ Requires familiarity with best practice on all Human Resource issues

✔ Must be confident and able to handle complex employee relations cases

✔ Requires a good understanding of employment law and current legislation

✔ Must be able to apply sound judgement and discretion in HR decision-making

✔ Should be experienced in cultivating and managing professional relationships

✔ Must be confident liaising with and advising stakeholders at all levels

✔ It is advantageous to have prior experience in a standalone HR position

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

◾ Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries for all employees

◾ Effectively leading various HR functions across a multi-site business

◾ Developing and implementing HR strategies to support the wider organisation

◾ Maintaining accurate HR records including personnel files, ensuring confidentiality

◾ Supporting with intricate and complex employee relations matters as required

◾ Conducting investigations, including grievance and disciplinary proceedings

◾ Focusing on succession planning, training plans, and performance reviews

◾ Monitoring the performance of the team against the company’s strategic objectives

◾ Identifying and delivering development plans for individual members of staff

◾ Reviewing and amending HR policies and procedures as required

◾ Staying up-to-date with relevant legal requirements and industry standards

◾ Recruitment strategies including advertising roles, shortlisting, and interviewing

◾ Monitoring absences and preparing analysis reports for management as required

◾ Contributing to the professional development of the workforce through training

◾ Providing management support and advice to ensure smooth business operations

◾ Advising Managers on HR functions and strategies, plus policy interpretation

◾ Working closely with other departments to develop and improve retention strategies

◾ Conducting HR compliance audits and change management initiatives

◾ Supporting with other employee-facing and generalist HR matters as required
