Our Client is a family run company that was established in 1985, providing high quality precision machined components for a diverse range of industries.

A successful candidate would have the opportunity to work for a fast-growing company, in a modern workshop environment with the latest machine tools and would need to be able to work effectively as a team member and have strong problem-solving skills.

Required Skills/Competencies:

• Experience with Fanuc controls – On fixed head CNC lathes and/or sliding head lathes.

• Experience operating and programming multi-turret lathes would be a significant benefit.

• Understanding of engineering drawings and working with tight tolerances.

• Strong communication and time management skills.

• CAD/CAM experience is desirable.

• ISO (Apply online only) experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Producing high quality machined components to tight tolerances.

• Programming, setting and operating fixed head CNC lathes.

• Completing small to large batch work plus prototypes.

• Work collaboratively as a team member to improve existing processes and quality control.

• Working with a variety of materials from plastics, aluminium and stainless steels.

• Maintain production records to comply with ISO 9001:2015 and company procedure.

• Ability to work as part of a team as well as under own initiative.

Working Hours:

• 40 Hours per week.

• 07:30 – 16:30, Monday to Thursday

• 07:30 – 13:30 Fridays. • Overtime available.

• 23 days holidays per year (plus Bank Holidays).

Benefits:

• Salary - £16 p/hr - £22 p/hr (based on experience).
