Position: Field Service Engineer
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 + Bonus
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Monday – Friday
Interaction is working with a nationwide plant hire company based in Huntingdon. Due to an expansion in the business my client is looking to take on multiple plant fitters to start immediately. This is a great opportunity to join a secure company that heavily invests in their teams.
The Role:
Fault-finding and maintenance on a range of plant machinery from light machinery to heavy plant (Diggers, Dumpers, Excavators and more)
Responsible for identifying and repairing any faults or damage to equipment
Offering excellent customer service
Accurately updating service records during real time
Following health and safety to ensure a safer workplace
The Candidate:
Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served
Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
A customer-focussed approach workload and committed team player
A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
