Position Overview:
They're seeking a driven and talented Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. As an integral part of their Building Services division, you will contribute to the design and delivery of mechanical systems for high-profile residential and education projects. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the success of dynamic and impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the mechanical design process under the guidance of senior engineers, from initial concept to final implementation.
- Assist in conducting detailed calculations and simulations to optimize the performance and efficiency of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to integrate mechanical solutions seamlessly into building designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Take ownership of specific project tasks and deliverables, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical proficiency and contribute to the growth of the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated interest in mechanical design engineering, with a desire to develop expertise in building services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
