Our client, a Tooling company in Rotherham; require an experienced CNC Machinist, the successful candidate will have CNC turning experience.
The position is for 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm and Friday 7am – 12:00pm, occasional flexibility may be required. Default shift pattern is a standard day shift
* The successful candidate will ideally possess:
* A sound understanding of both manual and CNC turning is essential.
* Experience working in an engineering environment is essential.
* The candidate will operate CNC turning machines operating from 2 axis CNC lathes and working to tight tolerances.
* Verify conformity of parts using gauges – sending first off parts for CMM measurement.
* Programming experience would be advantageous.
* Ability to work under pressure
