Position Overview:
Are you a dynamic and results-driven professional with a proven track record in sales and account management? Currently seeking a Business Development / Account Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
* Identify and target new business opportunities within the construction and development sectors.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Conduct market research to understand potential clients' security needs.
* Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
Account Management:
* Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
* Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional security services.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and implementation of security solutions.
Client Engagement:
* Conduct presentations and demonstrations of our security solutions to prospective clients.
* Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales objectives.
Industry Knowledge:
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the security and construction sectors.
* Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand your network and promote our services.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the security or construction industries.
* Strong understanding of the construction and development sectors and their specific security requirements.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
* Willingness to travel across the U.K. as required.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
