Are you organized, efficient, and ready to step into a role that makes a real impact? We are excited to invite an enthusiastic HR administrator to become a key part of our team.

Milestone Education is thrilled to be partnered with a fantastic Special School located in Birmingham, looking for a skilled HR administrator to enhance the operations of main office and reception.

About the School:

Our partnered school caters to children from reception to post-16 with moderate to severe learning difficulties and autism. The school has been awarded by Ofsted for its outstanding leadership, excellent educational standards, strong sense of community, and committed staff who deliver individualised learning experiences.

The facilities, which include spacious outdoor play areas, specialised therapy rooms, and well-equipped classrooms, assist each child's overall development. The school's motto, "Achieving Together," underlines the collaborative effort of staff and students in creating a meaningful educational journey, reflecting its commitment to help their students grow into compassionate, confident people who are ready to positively impact the world around them.

An HR administrator's work involves a great deal of teamwork, and their contributions will be crucial in maintaining and developing this supportive atmosphere through strategic HR initiatives and efficient people management.

The school is noted for its safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment, which supports every student's personal growth and development.

Responsibilities:

* Handle office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.

* Provide real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and meetings.

* Reply effectively and efficiently to email, telephone or face to face enquiries.

* Maintain, store and update personnel files in accordance with GDPR regulations.

* Manage documentation related to employment gaps, overseas checks, and ensure rigorous risk assessments are conducted for DBS checks.

* Ensure strict adherence to the Trust’s disciplinary, maternity/paternity, and sickness absence policies, coordinating necessary documentation and training sessions as required.

* Organise detailed induction programmes, ensuring compliance with safer recruitment guidelines and maintaining up-to-date training records.

Requirements:

* An Enhanced DBS Check.

* Degree or proven previous experience in a human resource role.

* Strong organisational and communication skill.

* Experience of with HR software and systems like Edupay.

* SCR Management Skill.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 4:00.

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Location: Birmingham.
